Any advice on cameras?

I am a (poor) film student looking for a decent HD video camera (Not a DSLR). I'm shooting for somewhere between $500-$700, hopefully with these features:
-Uncompressed raw footage
-ability to attach various microphones, lights, etc
-Did I say digital?

So yeah. Any experience and advice is appreciated!
