best camcorder video image

I have copied my camcorder videos to my computer and external hard drive and then to a dvd. When I put the dvd into a dvd player it doesnt read it. What did I do wrong?

There are lots of standards regarding video format, disk format, file names etc that have to be followed to make a playable DVD. DVD Flick is a free app that will do all the conversions and DVD burning for you, and it's free.

I have old camcorder videos and need to get them on my computer. But the only thing is my camcorder has broken and need to go to a place to get the videos onto a disk or memory card so i can access it on my computer! Please help : )

I have a friend who took some old camcorder tape to Walgreens to have them converted to DVD. You might try some camera specialty stores, but I they might be more expensive. I think my friends said that the DVD's were $10-$20 each. Hope that helps.
