Nope....A wireless mic would need the wireless transmitter connected to the camcorder's microphone input port.
To get external wired mic'd audio to you video, the work around is to use a separate recording device like a voice recorder and mate the audio to your videos in post. You can even use your desk top computer or laptop and record audio with a wired mic that way too.
Samsontech.com has a new Zoom H1 recorder to be released in July 2010.

Everything about warped tour?

I will be attending warped tour this year for the first time, and have many questions.
What is the average age of those attending?
How early should I get there?
How much money should I bring?
What should I wear?
What should I bring?
What should I expect?
How friendly are people there?
Do you have any awesome stories from the warped tour?
How long does it go?
Just tell me everything you experienced or whatnot. Thanks!
Answer
Warped Tour is essentially an all-age tour. I've seen people as young as 5 and as old as 60 attend.
Because this is a general admission show (there are no assigned seats!) you may want to get in line early. This is also because the band schedule (what time every band plays and at what stage) is not created and announced until the day of the show. So, you may want to get in line maybe 30 minutes to an hour before doors open. Once you arrive at doors and get in, find your way to a large, red blow-up schedule; this shows you the bands that will play at what stage and at what time. Bring a piece of paper and pen to write down all the bands you want to see, what stage they will be playing at and at what time. However, though there are only about 6 main stages, there are around 5 "unofficial" stages (for example, the Kevin Says Stage) that the blow up schedule does not have on there, so keep an eye out for those.
Bring enough money for food, water, and merch. Food will easily run you up to $10, water about $3 per bottle, and merch: t-shirts $10-$20, hoodies $25-45, shorts $20-30. From my experiences, Warped Tour is known for slightly cheaper band merchandise. I usually bring around $100, but I know others who bring more. Please make sure you keep your money in a safe place. Some Warped Tour attendees will not hesitate to snatch your personal belongings from an open pocket.
You should wear something that you feel completely comfortable in, and something you do not mind getting dirty. Please, no flipflops, bikini swimsuits, anything atrocious and that can easily be pulled off. Make sure to find out if the venue for your date is outdoor; the majority of Warped Tour shows are held at outdoor venues, but double check. Assuming that your venue will be outdoor, shorts, a tank top or tshirt, and sneakers should be fine. Bring sunglasses and a hat if you have them.
Bring SUNSCREEN AND WATER. 2010 will be my 6th year attending, and I cannot stress this enough. I have seen too many people pass out because of high amounts of sun exposure and dehydration. Please bring a bottle of water and continuously keep hydrated. Bring sun block and continue to re-apply every hour. The sun can be extremely harsh especially mixed in with the humidity a large amount of people gathered in one place can create and the fact that its the summer. Also make sure to bring a point and shoot camera, (NOT an SLR, a camera with a detachable lens, or a camcorder. These are restricted from Warped Tour).
Expect to have fun.
People are pretty friendly. This is an amazing opportunity to meet people who enjoy the same music as you do, and aren't there to judge.
I have so many great experiences from the past shows i've attended.
Warped Tour is a tour that takes place for the entire day; it usually begins around 10am and completely ends around 10pm. However, you can arrive and leave at any time you wish.
Have your camera ready, because you never know who you will see just walking around. Stay hydrated and have fun!
