What are your thoughts on the Kodak PlaySport Camcorder?

I need a cheap camcorder to record my high jumpers in track and field. Is this camcorder any good for this. Also can I transfer the files to my computer and what type of files will it upload to my computer. Should I invest the money on this camcorder or is there others I should consider?

The PlaySport would probably be fine for what you're talking about. It has 4x zoom which is twice as good as the Flip (but keep in mind it's digital, not actual optical zoom). It saves videos as MOV files and includes a USB cable and software to download them to your computer. It only has 128K internal memory so to record anything useful you'll need to get an SD memory card with it. Another pocket video camera you should look at is the Sony Bloggie touch. It's about $40 more than the Zx3 (or $20 less than the Zx5), doesn't need a memory card, and has a bigger screen.

Why wont my Kodak play sport video camera work?

I have a Kodak play sport video camera that looks like this > http://www.softatoz.com/camcorder-kodak/playsport-zx5-black/KDPSZX5BK.png and I have been resetting it every time I use it! It wont let me upload photos or videos, when I do it says there are no new ones to upload but there are! And it wont let me watch the videos on the camera either or else it freezes and I have to reset it. I am able to take videos and pictures still but when I go to click on them right after I take them it says something weird like unrecognized or something. Please help! I really need to upload my videos to youtube this week! Thank you <3
